Foto Funday! … a little late ;)

2011-07-01-07-12-41-ccweb{From my front yard … July 1st & there’s still snow on the Selkirks!}

Did you all enjoy your Fourth of July weekend? We had a good weekend – enjoyed lunch out at our favorite Irish Pub with some friends on Sunday. Didn’t make it to the parade or fireworks on Monday, but chose to kick it at home instead. Smile

Ready for some Foto Fun?? Here’s what I’ve been shooting this past week …

Hello Red Robin! Smile

So many roses popping in the garden – we stop to smell the lovely fragrance every time we pass!

The scallions are still pretty tiny, but the lettuce is taking off … and that bit of cilantro just behind the lettuce isn’t doing too shabby either!

Chives gone to flowering … they sure are pretty!

My hubby got a new riding mower this past week, a John Deere, and he is SO thrilled! He mowed all over the place as soon as the mower was delivered. Smile Due to his disabilities, I’ve been doing the mowing with our walk-behind mower, but now he can take on this “fun” chore! Winking smile

Well that’s all the photos for today. I hope you had a wonderful Independence Day … God Bless America!

Blessings to you!

It is the 4th day of Christmas at PGD, and the goodies are rolling out!

And it has definitely been snowing a little here – we received about 5 inches in the past 24 hours, and it is still coming down. We’re expecting it to continue through tomorrow morning at least.

Yesterday morning … beautiful!

My dear hubby spent some time yesterday working on some origami – he has patience and pays attention to detail in such an amazing way when it comes to these tricky folded creations. He made a few things, including a beautiful swan for our Christmas tree! :D

Scenes From Moose Trail Acres

It’s a beautiful autumn day here, and when I looked out my front window this morning, I saw we just had the first visible snow on the Selkirk Mountains off to the west of us. It was 38 degrees at 7am, and a noisy Northern Flicker (a woodpecker) was calling loudly from the top of an electric pole in the yard.

And a lone Canadian Honker flew over while I was outside, so I snapped a quick shot of that. :D

Hope you all have a beautiful autumn day! God bless!!
