Well, it’s back to my chores now … our son, Justin, who serves in the Navy, will be home for a visit tomorrow. Our oldest son, Aaron, and his wife, Amanda will be picking up Justin from the airport and then I will have all my kids here together for the first time in a long time! We are excited, and holding a little open house on Sunday so all Justin’s friends and family can drop in to say HI. Aren’t these kinds of times just sweet?! Of course, that means I have a bunch of chores and cooking to do, so toodles for now! Have a lovely weekend!

SUN Collab for March: Twilight (not what you think!)

The marvelous, humongous, amazing collab kit from the SUN designers is available! When I first heard we were going with a title of “Twilight” I was a little worried – I’m not exactly a big fan of the books/movies. But then I found out it’s in the more “traditional” meaning of the word … it’s all blues and nighttime and stars and has a bit of a wonderful nursery rhyme feel, too!! For this collab, I contributed some fun wordart along with a few papers. You will definitely want to grab this great kit for the jaw-dropping sale price of just $3!!

Amazing: Friends. Digiscrap. Submarines.

Well, I was caught completely off-guard today when I found out that Sherrie and the gals at PGD have been working on a secret project I had no idea about …

A benefit kit … for us.

What can I say, but WOW. I confess I broke down crying when I saw this today. I was so completely overwhelmed. Jim and I are very blessed.

And what on earth is the amazing submarines bit about?? Well, a new video was posted by the Navy today of the very submarine our son, Justin, will be serving on as soon as he arrives at his new port in Hawaii next week! :D We loved watching this and seeing a great tour of the very sub our son will be spending so much time on!

It's Almost Here!!

I'm so excited about the Lifting Hopes Collab Kit that's coming out the 1st of February! It is the first Collab Kit I've taken part in, and it's also a charity kit to benefit the National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasias. Once I read about EDs on LadyVDzine's blog, I just had to take part in this special fundraiser.

This kit will be available at PrettyScrappy.com, and is stuffed with awesome papers & embellies in the colors you see in the sampler below. As soon as it is available, I will share a link and a preview of my part of the collab kit - so check back soon!
