Our Story In The News …

Thought I’d share with you all the news story KXLY-TV in Spokane ran on us yesterday. Jim and I are quiet people, we usually keep to ourselves for the most part, so being in the spotlight is difficult, but we know it’s where we have to be right now. It’s where God has put us. So here we are. We certainly appreciate the amazing efforts so many people are putting forth on our behalf.

Busy …

Hi all! I haven’t completely disappeared, I’ve just been terribly busy. I have been working long hours on prepping everything for my move to a new digiscrap store (watch for that announcement sometime soon! :D) and also working on a huge new kit :D, plus we have been getting ready for the big benefit dinner/auction being held to help us out with the medical bills and so forth since my husband has been unable to work. We did an interview with the local paper recently, and we will be interviewing with KXLY-TV in just a day or two. A bit nerve-wracking … we usually just keep to ourselves & are a bit uncomfortable in the spotlight … *sigh* :)  We have heard from the folks organizing this benefit that the community has really responded generously with donations and such. Quite amazing. We are really quite humbled. If any of you would like to read the newspaper article, you can find it on the Daily Bee’s website – click here.

Digiscrap Announcement

Well, folks, it’s official now, so here’s the news: Pixel Gypsy Designs will be closing its doors at the end of February. We are very saddened to see this occur, and we wish the absolute best for site owners Scott & Sherrie – they are wonderful people and have done such an amazing job! If you would like to read the official announcement, you can do so here: Important PGD Announcement

As for me, folks, I am currently making arrangements to continue selling my digital scrapbooking designs, and will update you when I have made a definite decision on a new digi home! :D In the meantime, you can still continue to shop for your digiscrap supplies at my PGD Shoppe!

Blessings all,

Happy New Year 2010!

Happy, happy New Year folks! I’m sure you all have experienced challenges of various kinds in 2009, just as I have, and no doubt 2010 will bring plenty more for all of us… yet I am grateful for each and every day God brings, because there is so much to be learned in every moment of every day. Don’t let yourself be brought down by the struggles of the past year or the worries of what the new year will bring… just hang on for the amazing ride! :D

To help kick off the new year, I’ve created a wonderful 4x6 photo calendar that will look beautiful printed and displayed on your desk! You just drop in your own photos on each calendar, order prints at your fav store or print them yourself, and you have a quick & wonderful calendar for the whole year. One idea I’ve thought of doing with these, is to clip them together with a binder clip or bulldog clip & set them up on a little business card holder on my desk. Or, I might punch them in one upper corner & attach a simple binder ring – doesn’t that sound cool?! These would make such an adorable gift, too!

Be on the lookout, folks, for a special announcement I’ll be making here on my blog, probably some time this weekend. You digiscrappers will be interested to hear it! :D

Have a wonderful and blessed New Year 2010 y’all!
