This week I’ve been busy digging up irises that have become overcrowded in recent years so I can separate the rhizomes and then replant them with more spacing. It’s a chore I have procrastinated on for a couple years now as I’ve watched the number of blooms on my dear irises become fewer in number, and now I am finally trying to tackle it. It is spring in North Idaho, though, which means I am doing this chore between rain/sleet/snow/hail downpours. Oh, and the bits of sunshine mixed in, as well. lol! I am really looking forward to seeing my irises come back, tho, and look as full and lush as they have in the past.
With most of the snow melted back now, we’ve been getting the trails and garden areas raked as we watch crocuses and daffodils starting to peek up. We hope to get the pond cleaned out and the fountain up for the season this week – we are *so* looking forward to that!
In between garden chores, I managed to put together a beautiful page stack which I am giving to you all as a delightful freebie!! I’ve created this stack using my Luminesce.Lavender kit – enjoy!
Contains one 12x12 JPG - 300ppi
Happy springtime ya all! :D
